I moved to USA in 2008.
In 6th grade,I got straght As`
In 7 th grade,I got 1 b only in the last term of eng.,the rest are As`.
I am in 8 th grade now!
I was in advance math and english classes during 7th grade.
For now,I am in a algebra 1 and advanced english class.
I want to apply a boarding school for 10 th grade.
If I work hard on the SSAT and sports in 9th grade and now ,what is my chance to get in to the bording school?
Will my household income effect the chances?
What area should I work on to increase the chance?

Which boaring school will I get accept?
Deerfield Academy
Groton
Phillips Academy andover
Boston Latin
Or other schools?

I really want to get into a good boarding school, but my grades are average, I currently have a GPA of about 3.4-ish and i plan to take the SSAT soon. I think im gonna do pretty well but im not sure if thats gonna help me…are schools like Phillips in andover willing to overlook average grades for high SSAT scores? what else could i do to higher my chances of getting in? Also I have already spoken with my teachers and after speaking with them i can conclude that I’m going to have stellar recommendations. Also I attend a preforming arts magnet school with an amazing reputation state wide…if that helps
